EBT Organization 2013

Do you want to experience what it is like to organize one of the largest career events of the Netherlands?

For the Economic Business weeks Tilburg 2013 we are looking for enthusiastic and motivated students who would like to dedicate one full-time or part-time year of their studies to organize the 15th edition of this successful event.

What can the EBT offer you?
Organizing the EBT is a unique learning experience with many opportunities and challenges. It requires a lot more than just copying last year’s recipe; you have to improve what other organizations have done before and learn from their mistakes. Furthermore, there is plenty of room for incorporating your own ideas.

Since you are working in a team, organizing this event develops both your personal and team skills. In addition to this, your social network will expand rapidly because you are continuously contacting companies, associations and departments.

Last but certainly not least, being part of the EBT organization is a lot of fun! Dinners, parties, drinks and excursions will be part of your every day life.

Positions within the EBT
The EBT organization consists of three full-time and three part-time positions. You can find these different positions and a short description of their responsibilities listed below.

Chairman (full-time): responsible for the general state of affairs

Vice-chairman/Secretary (full-time): responsible for all secretarial affairs, the script and the information book

Treasurer (full-time): responsible for all financial affairs and promotional affairs

External affairs (part-time): responsible for the acquisition of companies

External affairs (part-time): responsible for the acquisition of companies

Operations Manager (part-time): responsible for the locations and the schedule of students and companies and for the website

Next to these main tasks, all different activities during the EBT itself will be divided amongst the members of the organization. In this way, everyone will be responsible for one or more days of the EBT. For a detailed description of the various positions, please click here.
